This charming old world style, 50 seat puppet theatre is just a few blocks
south of Circle Center in downtown Indianapolis. Ideal for school groups,
scouts, birthday parties and reserved parties. Peggy Melchior, Debbi Stutzman
and Heidi Shackleford, of MMHP Puppet Productions Inc., present captivating and
creative puppet shows for children and puppet making day camps and workshops.

2009 Camps
June & July, 2009 |

A great week for the creative and ‘hands on’ child. Camps, at the
studio, are from 9am to 4pm and campers should bring a sack lunch and snacks
for the day.
 PUPPET CAMPS
Level I Puppet Camps
June 8 -12 and July 6 - 10 at Orchard School, 615 W. 64th St., Indianapolis
- 251-9253 - 12 noon, ages 5 - 8, tuition $160
Campers in this camp will make a variety of puppets and present a show for
parents, siblings and friends on the last day of camp.
Level II Puppet Camp
June 15-19 at Peewinkle's Puppet Studio - 917-9454
9 - 4pm, Ages 8 and up, tuition $200
Limited to 12 campers
Campers in this camp will construct a variety of puppets, learn about
lighting and some simple prop making.
They will also present a show at the end of the week. Each ccamper will
receive a Peewinkle T-shirt.
Level III Puppet Camp
 June 22-26 at Peewinkle's Puppet Studio- 917- 9454
9 - 4pm, ages 9 and up, Tuition $200
Limited to 12 campers
This camp is for the advanced puppet student. Campers will design a puppet
and spend the week creating it.
Campers will also present a short show for parents, siblings and friends at
the end of the week. Campers
at this level are required to bring their own basic "tool and sewing kit". A
supply list will be provided upon
registration. Each camper will receive a Peewinkle T-shirt.
QUILTING CAMP
July 13 - 17 at Peewinkle's Puppet Studio - 917-9454
Hours 9 - 4pm - Tuition $100
Limited to 15 campers
Campers, in this one of a kind camp, will learn sewing machine techniques,
basic embroidery stitches and appliqueing. The end product will be a "Crazy
Quilt" bag complete with embellishments!
Campers are required to bring their own sewing machines and be skilled at
threading the machine as well as refilling the bobbin.
A detailed supply list will be provided upon registration.

Westside of S. Van Buren St., Nashville, IN. Shows are on Saturdays,
starting on Memorial Day weekend through October. Closed in
