This charming old world style, 50 seat puppet theatre is just a few blocks
south of Circle Center in downtown Indianapolis. Ideal for school groups,
scouts, birthday parties and reserved parties. Peggy Melchior, Debbi White
and Heidi Shackleford, of MMHP Puppet Productions Inc., present captivating
creative puppet shows for children, puppet making day camps and workshops.

The Sunday show is a great event for scouts, ages 5-10 yrs. A Peewinkle’s Puppet
Studio patch will be available for $2.50. A question and answer session will be
held after the Sunday performance.
The twinkling 36 foot set is reminiscent of the old fashioned advent calendars.
Marionettes, large rod puppets, a live Sugar Plum Ballerina, the Chinese New
Years Lion will enchant and educate children, 3 - 10 years. A few of the winter
festivals included are: Christmas, Chinese New Year, Diwali, Hanukkah and
Kwanzaa. Teachers and scout leaders will receive an educational guide in advance
with their reservations. Standards will also be available.

“Peewinkle Joins the Circus”

 When Peewinkle becomes the Ringmaster, great fun begins... rollerskating and
juggling clowns, Frederico on the high flying trapeze, a unicyclist and much
much more! The trick marionettes will keep your youngsters spellbound. Ages 2 -

Orchard School - 615 W. 54th St. • 251-9253 This camp is ideal for the
creative child. Children participating in this camp will construct and learn
how to manipulate a wide variety of puppets; simple marionettes, mouth
puppets, rod puppets and a few surprises. They will paint, sand and draw and
have a lot of fun! Parents will be invited to a spectacular camper show the
last day of camp. Puppet Camp Level 2 - 3

Ages 9 and up 9am - 4pm
Tuition: $175.
Peewinkle’s Puppet Studio
25 Henry St. • 917-9454 Level II campers will construct a variety of
puppets including marionettes, hand and shadow puppets. Level III is for
the more experienced camper-they will work the entire week on one puppet of
their choosing...either a marionette or ‘muppet style’ hand and rod puppet. Both levels will conclude their week with a Friday performance for families.

our summertime venue at The Melchior Marionette Theatre, Westside of
S. Van Buren St., Nashville, IN. Shows are on Saturdays, starting on
Memorial Day weekend through October. Closed in August. Shows at 1
& 3pm. These 20 minute cabaret marionette shows have been
entertaining tourists for over 25 years!!
